ANECDOTES
- Phil Collins performed the Soloist songs in French, German, Italian and Spanish, in additon of the original version.
While he recorded only one French version for both France and Quebec, he sang two distinct Spanish versions, for Latin America and Spain, using each country's local accents.
- Similarly, one Mandarin version was used for both Taiwan and China.
- In the Egyptian Arabic dub, while recording his second song for the movie, Hisham Nour (هشام نور) started spitting out blood, as the songs were in a much higher register than what he was used to. The doctor told him not to speak for 21 days if he ever wanted to even speak again. He still returned after those 21 days and finished working on the songs of the movie.

- Zainal Abidin, the Malay Soloist singer, was also the Lyricist of the dubbing. He was handpicked by Disney and approved by Phil Collins himself.

- "Tarzan" was the first Disney movie to be officially dubbed into Malay for cinema release in 1999.
- It was also the first Disney movie to be officially dubbed into Romanian, in 2001.
- The Albanian dubbing isn't officially Disney's, it was made by an independent studio.

ANECDOTES
- Even though Phil Collins wrote the new songs and sang once again in the original version, he didn't perform again in the French, German, Italian and Spanish versions. However, his recordings of the song "Son of Man", which appears in this movie too, were kept in those languages.
Once again, one version was made for both France and Quebec.
- Miquel Fernández was the Catalan Soloist singer in the first movie and returned in this sequel as the new singer in the Castilian Spanish version.
- The Albanian dubbing isn't officially Disney's, it was made by an independent studio.
