ANECDOTES
- A VHS was first released in Croatia, "Scooby Doo: Popularne misterije" ("Scooby Doo's Greatest Mysteries"), including 4 episodes of the series :
„A Clue for Scooby-Doo” (S01xE02)
„Hassle in the Castle” (S01xE03)
„The Backstage Rage” (S01xE09)
„Jeepers, it's the Creeper” (S02xE03)
In this version, the opening song, and the song Daydreamin' (Sanjari) from S02E03 were dubbed into Croatian.
The full series was eventually dubbed for Nova TV in 2004, and released on DVD in 2005. - The third Czech dubbing is not a complete dubbing of the series. In 2009, the DVD "Scooby-Doo!: Zimní superpes" ("Scooby-Doo! Winter WonderDog") was released in Czech Republic, which contains 4 episodes of different Scooby-Doo series. Only episode S01xE17 „That's Snow Ghost” was featured on this DVD.
- Similarly, in Greece, different VHS and DVDs, composed of different Scooby-Doo episodes from different series, generally theme-based, featuring selected episodes of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", were released and redubbed with the current voices of the time :
A VHS, released in 2002 :
"Scooby-Doo: Το Φάντασμα των Χριστουγέννων" ("Scooby-Doo! Winter WonderDog" 2002); featuring S01xE17 „That's Snow Ghost”
DVDs, released in 2011 and 2014 :
"Ο Σκούμπι Ντου και οι Πειρατές" ("Scooby-Doo! and the Pirates" 2011); featuring S01xE03 „Hassle in the Castle” and S01xE14 „Go Away Ghost Ship”
"Ο Σκούμπι Ντου και τα Φαντάσματα" ("Scooby-Doo! and the Ghosts" 2011); featuring S02xE03 „Jeepers, it's the Creeper”
"Ο Σκούμπι Ντου και τα Ρομπότ" ("Scooby-Doo! and the Robots" 2011); featuring S01xE08 „Foul Play in Funland”
"Ο Σκούμπι Ντου και τα Τέρατα του Τσίρκου" ("Scooby-Doo! and the Circus Monsters" 2013); featuring S01xE10 „Bedlam in the Big Top”
"Scooby Doo: 13 Τρομακτικές Ιστορίες - Ωχ, ένα Ρομπότ!" ("Scooby-Doo! 13 Spooky Tales: Ruh-Roh Robot!" 2013); featuring S01xE08 „Foul Play in Funland" - Oreste Baldini, the second Italian voice of Fred in this series, will return as Shaggy in 2002 from TV Series "What's New, Scooby-Doo?", and in animated movies from "Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!" (2006).
- In Norway, the DVD "Cartoon Crack-Ups" (2001) was dubbed, featuring S02xE03 „Jeepers, it's the Creeper”. This was the only episode dubbed in Norwegian until the whole series was dubbed in 2015 for Boomerang.
- Francisco Colmenero, who dubs Scooby-Doo in Spanish for one episode in this series, will later reprise the role after the original actor's death. He was also the dubbing director of the show.
- The first Swedish dubbing only dubbed the 1st season and the first 4 episodes of season 2. The 2nd season was shown in 1993 on TV3, while the 1st season aired in 1996.
For the DVD release (2005), the 1996 dubbing was used for the 1st season, while the 2nd season was fully redubbed.
According to wikipedia, the second dubbing was actually made for the DVD "Scooby-Doo's Ruskigaste Historier" ("Scooby-Doo's Creepiest Capers" 2000), released (and dubbed?) in Sweden in 2002, which features four episodes of the series :
S01xE14 „Go Away Ghost Ship” („Försvinn spökskepp”)
S01xE16 „A Night of Fright Is No Delight” („En otäck natt med skräck är inte käckt”)
S01xE03 „Hassle in the Castle” („Trubbel på slottet”)
S02xE05 „Haunted House Hang-Up” („Den hemsökta herrgården”)
It seems, as S02xE05 was already dubbed for this previous DVD, they used this dubbing for this episode and only redubbed the 7 other episodes of the 2nd season for the DVD release in 2005.
It also seems that S02xE03 „Jeepers, it's the Creeper” might have been redubbed before 2005, as the voice of Shaggy and the technical staff are different - maybe for the 2003 DVD "Scooby Doo's Greatest Mysteries", which features this episode?
