ANECDOTES
- It is the final Hanna-Barbera production to be executive produced by both William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, before Hanna's death on March 22, 2001, whom the movie was dedicated to.
- It is also the last Scooby-Doo direct-to-video film to be animated overseas by Japanese animation studio Mook Animation.
- It was also the last time Scott Innes and B. J. Ward dubbed Scooby-Doo/Shaggy and Velma in the original version.
- However, it was the first time Grey Griffin dubbed Daphne, after Mary Kay Bergman's suicide in 1999. Griffin will eventually be replaced as well for the next two direct-to-video films, as Heather North, Daphne's original voice (1970-1985), returned. Griffin will reprise the role in "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" TV Series in 2002, and in "Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster" in 2004 for the animated films, a role she still dubs to this day (2021).
- It seems to be the first Scooby-Doo direct-to-video film to be officially dubbed and released in Bulgaria, at the same time as the original release; although it was later redubbed with the current voices of the characters.
Radoslav Rachev (Радослав Рачев), who voiced Fred and Scooby-Doo in this first dubbing (2002) will return as the two characters, or as Scooby-Doo only, in several voice-over dubbings of the animated films and series. - The Norwegian dubbing only aired on Boomerang, and was never relesed on DVDs or digital copies, which only present a subtitled version.
