ANECDOTES
- In the English version, during Miriam's lullaby, when she sang the song of her mother to Moses to make him remember, it's not the singing voice of Miriam who sang, but Brenda Chapman, the director. The vocal had been recorded for a scratch audio track, which was intended to be replaced later by Sally Dworsky. The track turned out so well that it remained in the film.
- Some other versions let the speaking voice sing this short extract, like the French and Hebrew dubs.
- Margrét Sigurðardóttir, the Icelandic voice, recorded "When you believe" in one take and only once. She was not happy with the result and wanted to re-record it but Steinunn Ólína, the Icelandic dubbing director, said no.
- For religious reasons, the movie isn't dubbed and shown in Muslim countries. That's why there's no Arabic and Malay dubbings.
- In the Good Saturday night of 2009(?), the Greek channel "Antena" didn't get the rights to show the movie on TV, so they made their own dub. The songs weren't dubbed and left in English. The dubbing wasn't well-received and has never been broadcast again on TV.
- The Indonesian dubbing is a TV dub, never released on VHS/DVD/BLU-RAYs.
- The Albanian and Persian dubs aren't official, they're made by small independant studios.
