- The Brazilian Portuguese voices of King Stefan and King Hubert were pairing on a humor show in the 50s and 60s. Two years after "Sleeping Beauty", they will dub again together in "One Hundred and One Dalmatians", as Jasper and Horace.
- Only some extracts of the first Cantonese dubbing can be found on Youtube.
- The Spanish 2001 dubbing underwent some modifications in 2008 on some lines of the movie, especially Maleficent's.
- Poland dubbed this movie only in 1962, because of the Bierut's regime in place 'till 1956; Disney coudn't enter the market because of the restrictions on arts and foreign movies outside of the Eastern Block.
- The Albanian and Persian dubbings aren't officially Disney's, they were made by independent studios.
