ANECDOTES
- In Mandarin, the Mainland Mandarin (Putonghua) dubbing is the official Chinese version; Taiwan uses this China dubbing on official releases.
- There is no European Spanish (Castilian) dub of this movie. While Spain started dubbing back in 1992 with Beauty and the Beast, and redubbed all Disney movies since then, they never redubbed "Sleeping Beauty".
- Only some extracts of the old Cantonese dubbing can be found on Youtube. The singer May Chan redubbed the singing in the new dub.
- The Spanish 2001 dub underwent some modifications in 2008 on some lines of the movie, especially Maleficent.
- Just like for Cinderella, Poland dubbed this movie only in 1962, because before that there was Bierut's regime till 1956. Disney coudn't enter the market as long as there were restrictions on arts and foreign movies outside of Eastern Block.
- The Swedish 1959 dub is lost now.
- The Indonesian and Malay dubs are TV dubbings, not released on VHS/DVD/BLU-RAY
- The Albanian and Persian dubs aren't officially Disney, they're made by small independant studios.
