- In the Danish dubbing, Ellen Winther Lembourn was originally chosen as both speaking and singing voice of Aurora. But during the recordings, it was noted that the singing voice should have a "smaller" voice ("mindre" stemme), and the choice fell on Inge Stauss.
- Mariam Al-Khosht (مريم الخشت) was originally chosen as both speaking and singing of Aurora in the Modern Standard Arabic (2022) dubbing of the movie, but didn't have time to record the songs eventually.
- Daryna Murashchenko (Дарина Муращенко) was only 17 years-old when she dubbed Aurora in the Ukrainian dubbing.
- The Spanish 2001 dubbing underwent some modifications in 2008 on some lines of the movie, especially Maleficent's. The 2001 voice actors/actresses returned.
- Poland dubbed this movie only in 1962, because of the Bierut's regime in place 'till 1956; Disney coudn't enter the market because of the restrictions on arts and foreign movies outside of the Eastern Block.
- The Albanian and Persian dubbings aren't officially Disney's, they were made by independent studios.
