ANECDOTES
- Queen Athena actually has only two speaking lines in the movie, and a song.
- Bang Ju-ran (방주란) - Korean - and Noha Fekry (نهى فكري) - Arabic - were the singing voice of Ariel in the "The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea". (Bang Ju-ran also sang as Ariel in the TV Series).
- In the Korean dubbing, Bang Ju-ran (방주란), the singing voice, actually does the little speaking part "Goodnight darlings" after Athena's song, but she doesn't dub the other speaking line of the Queen.
- The Italian credits wrongly switched Ariel's and Athena's singing voices, crediting Giulia Luzi as Athena instead of Rossella Palma.
- Limor Shapira (לימור שפירא), the Hebrew voice of Ariel in this sequel, was wrongly credited for the singing voice of Athena as well.
